Missionary Health Service (MHS)
Missionary Health service was founded in 1992 in Springfield, Ohio as a Humanitarian Service Organization to provide health service for the poor and need in rural Honduras. We are a nonprofit 501(C)3 charter with the IRS to operate the mission with tax exempt funds from donors and participating volunteers. We are an interfaith Christian organization and welcome volunteers and financial support.
Our Need For Continued Financial Support
- MHS needs $12,000-$15,000 for each mission to buy medicines to augment donated supplies, maintain the clinic and equipment, and to provide for patients with special circumstances.
- The costs for our Scholarship Program average $600 per student per year.
- Our clinic guard is the only paid employee of MHS.
- Our doctors, dentists, nurses and support staff are all volunteers
- Office space and web-master services are donated.
